Sophicor's founder spent years working inside CPA firms — preparing returns, managing workflows, and watching talented tax professionals spend their best hours on work that machines should have been doing.
The problem was never that good software didn't exist. The problem was that every tool sent client data to a shared server, charged per return, and asked the firm to trust a vendor they couldn't audit.
So in 2024, working nights and weekends while employed full-time at a Phoenix-based CPA firm, he built the alternative: a private cloud tax automation engine that installs inside a firm's own Google Workspace.
